Kick-Start - the impetus given to get a process started.
How does one start the journey of a lifetime when they are shocked, scared, angry, frightened, determined…confused?
There is an ancient teaching that says from discipline comes freedom. How could that possibly have anything to do with breast cancer and Pink Kick-Starters™? Well, with the avalanche of documents, records, appointments, phone numbers and calls, test results and information downloads there is a lot of chaos and stress. If there are designated places for things and a way to keep track of everything…and you (or a loved one) really did that and took control…then it seems there would be a lot of freedom to do what is important on this journey. Giving oneself the freedom to love themselves and those around them, learning, laughing and living.
Friends, family, co-workers, people at the doctor's office and hospitals, even strangers…everyone wants to help but no one knows what to do or say. Somehow you have ended up here and we are so glad that you have!
